Dan Jarvis

I called Ken just a few days before my daughter’s wedding as I realized that I could not do without a video history of the big event. Ken was so gracious and helpful. He was very easy to work with and delivered exactly what I wanted at a price that I felt was extremely fair. I would highly recommend Austin Wedding Videographers. Thank you so much Ken.

“My husband and I are completely thankful for Austin Wedding Videographers! It was very short notice when I had called Ken to see if there was any chance they’d be available to take video of my wedding day. They were completely filled for that day, but thankfully, I received a call back from him confirming me that he could send out Lachelle. I was super grateful and thankful for the great deal he had given me on top of slipping me into their busy schedule for that day. I will be recommending Austin Wedding Videographers to everyone! I am completely satisfied and amazed with the work they do, thank you!!”

Wedding Tips and Guides

Weddings can be stressful but don’t necessarily have to be. Here are a few quick tips and guides for help in planning a beautiful wedding on a budget.

  1. Set a Budget. Everything you do after the proposal is going to be based on your budget and how much you can afford. Once you set that limit, you can view vendors and venues with clarity and a much more realistic approach. Here is a handy tool to set your budget: My Wedding Planning Budget and Checklist. Two more checklists come from TemplateTrove.com, a PDF checklist which can be downloaded HERE and from Wed Plan, which can be downloaded HERE.
  2. Get Organized. There are several planning sites out there that help you get organized and pull your thoughts together for your big day. Here are a list of three great resources: MyWedding.com, WeddingWire.com, and The Knot.
  3. Find the Perfect Venue. Here Comes the Guide provides different venues for different states. Our favorite thing about this site is that you can do a search by region or city, as well as having a very comprehensive search tool that allows you to select Site Type (Ballroom, Church, etc.), Site Views (Canyon, Cityscape, Coastline, etc.), Catering Options, and Your Budget ($ Bid dreams, small budget / $$ Everything in moderation / $$$ Budget? What Budget?).
  4. Attend an open house of the venues you have narrowed down. This allows you to get a good feel for the place and imagine yourself getting married there. A lot of venues offer open houses during the month but if they don’t, don’t be shy to call and set up an appointment to view the venue before you make any kind of final decision. Something that looks good on the web doesn’t necessarily look good in person. You have to be there in person to know if that venue will work for you.
  5. Create a Wedding Website. These are really neat resources that allow you to put everything in one place. Three of our favorite wedding website creation tools are on Wedding WireThe Knot, and My Wedding. These allow you to customize your wedding experience, share photos, plan a wedding registry and so much more. Definitely a must in today’s technology driven world. The website is even mobile and tablet friendly and responsive.
  6. Find Vendors. There are so many vendors out there. From floral, invitations, wedding cakes, caterers, DJs, photography, videography and more, choosing can sometimes be really tough. One good way to find a top notch vendor is by checking their Google or Yelp reviews. People that are happy with something are going to write about it to let everyone know about their experience. The same is true about people who are unhappy. Reading their reviews gives you a little insight into if their clients were happy or not. Here at Austin Wedding Videographers, we have dealt with our share of vendors in the Austin, TX area. If you should need any help finding one and would like our opinion, please feel free to give us a call. Austin Wedding Videographers offers so many options and packages for videography, photography and DJ and would be more than happy to work with you to customize a packages that works for you.
  7. Prepare for the big day. With all of these checklists, plans and guides, you should be on your way to a smooth wedding day. Remember to delegate responsibility when possible and try to enjoy this wonderful time in your life.

Gabriel and Amy Velasquez

“Gabe and I are very satisfied with our wedding video.  This was the only thing that concerned me when planning for the wedding b/c this is the only thing we will have left from the wedding besides the pics.  We are so grateful that you both put our minds to ease because we are truly pleased with the video and we cannot express in words how awesome the video is.  We will definitely be using you when our daughter has her sweet 15 party in a few years.  Sincerely, we appreciate the fantastic job you did.  Thanks a bunch.”

Tim and Janette Heckman

“You did your best to accomplish everything we wanted and everything came out great!  You really seemed to care about making a great video and giving us what we wanted.  We really liked the editing and the final result.   The service was great through the entire process.  Out of all the vendors we used (flowers, photos, dress, video, etc…), you at Austin Pro Video were by far the best!  The two things we were most pleased with was the venue and our video.  Thanks again for everything.  If anyone we know gets married, we’ll be sure and give them your number.”

Phillip and Rebecca Sanders

“We loved how easy it was! You were easy to work with, very discreet at the wedding, and gave us a great product in a timely manner. We loved the slow motion recap at the end of the video! To us, the video is priceless! We will have those memories forever! I definitely would recommend your company to others! Your services and the final product is worth every penny. I think the video turned out great, because we left everything up to you!”

“Ken and Lachelle were great to work with! Very professional and accommodating. They were involved in all of our details and went above our expectations throughout the process. We were very satisfied with our video and the amount of time and appreciation that was put into the final product. Our friends and family love what they have seen so far and we are looking forward to sharing the rest. Going with Austin Pro Video was one of our best decisions we made for our wedding.”
